New 100w Cree COB 3500K lights from Alibaba just arrived!

100w actual power draw per unit. The exterior is just gorgeous. Beautiful brushed aluminum. Onboard fans for cooling. Incredible intensity! The packaging was 5 star. I noticed today that my blue dream in the flower room under my 450w SF-4000 is not drinking as fast as my other plants. The reason is because the SF-4000 is only 450w. The light next to it is a 660w qb. Then 2x 1000w lamps and 2x 600w lamps. 450w just isn't getting the job done to my satisfaction. To amplify the juice to that blue dream under the under powered SF-4000 I'll be adding both of these 3500k Cree COB units as close to the exterior on 2 sides of the SF-4000. Then the blue dream will have 650W of flower power overhead. Now that's fucking dope! :)

I paid $175.59 with sales tax. These puppies are stupid fucking bright. Just sitting underneath the 2x 200w for the initial illumination test felt like I was getting a sun tan fast, quick, and in a dam hurry. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Love me some 'baba :)

They really weren't intended for the flower room but when I noticed blue dream drinking less than her sisters I decided to say fuck the nursery and tossed them on top of the BD in a bad light drop off section of the rear flower room. These will get put into the 5x5 with the two 110w boards after this flower cycle.

To be honest though man the nursery really don't need them. I might toss them in the 4x4 with my geyapex COB 360w unit. Flowers are coming out very nice, but it just feels wrong flowering with 360w. Juicing that little flower tent to 560w feels a little more proper. As you can see I'm.an indecisive mess ;)

You are absloutely correct. As soon as I mounted them in the flower room I instsntly felt they looked funny. Your idea to fill those small voids is a much better solution. When some more $ frees up I'll follow your recommendation. A couple of those skinny long boards would cinch up the light drop off in those small dead zones nicely. Good looking out dude.

Had you not mentioned it I never would have even thought about it. I just got the fucker's mounted up there. I'll make my way through the canopy to see if I can unscrew the lenses. I will say I really love these little fuckers. They spit out a ton of light and it's quite intense. Perfect for a tent setup. The spread just isn't ideal for a larger flower room type situation. Like @bk78 pointed out a couple of those small long qb's would be perfect for what I'm trying to fix in the flower room. They'll do what I need them to do for this flower cycle, but I'll be getting a couple of those long skinny boards next. They'll make a perfect fit :)

Here are a couple of pics after the mounting. I must say mounting lights in a wall to wall packed flower room is no effing fun brother ;)
I mounted the one on the right at an angle so no light was wasted on the wall. Snugged them right in the dead zones. Dead zone no more. And my fucking AC kicked on like 20 minutes later. Sum-bitch! My free winter AC is disappearing before my eyes :)

I'm pretty darn impressed with all the gear I've gotten off 'baba so far. Great service every time. Neighbor of mine ordered a qb off amazon for twice what it costs on 'baba. He says he doesn't have time to wait for shipping. I say, dude I got my order in 10 days from payment. Blank stare back. What can ya do? Some people love to over pay for shit. I'm stupid in other ways though. I can't budget or pay bills. My wife handles that shit and if she didn't things would get messy very quickly :)
