New 2 year cards

Your card will expire when it says. You must renew, then the NEW date will be further out.
In Belle's case she did her paperwork last week and card actually expires on april 1 so she should be
good now till 4/1/15.
What I found out today was that the state automatically adds the year, the certification center doesn't have anything to do with that aspect.

ok that is what I thought you had said. so that still leaves me up in the air as far as should I re-register with the state.

I know that. But I thought there was a recent ruling, or even if there wasn't,..up to date paperwork, and or old cards are suitable as affirmative defense. Really as soon as you walk out of that cert doc door you are legal. I know there is a thread somewhere where this was discussed. I was more or less wondering if anyone had considered not re-registering due to privacy concerns with LARA.

A written recommendation from a physician can save you from being prosecuted after being arrested, locked up and possibly a trial. An actual state issued card should save you from all of the above.

1. I was told by my doc that April 14th is the day, however they are already getting some patient feedback and the last couple of months some people are getting two year cards so we'll see. 2. I guess it all depends on your employer. Our policy is that you cannot use illegal drugs but if you have your card it's not considered as illegal.

Again, I know that part. I just thought it was a more common practice. And I swear there was a court decision about this like 6 months ago that upheld it.
