New 200w COBs coming from Cree

Just got this email from a supplier. 3590s reduced in price too:

First, I want to share that Cree will release new product ( 200W COB, higher wattage than CXB3590 ) in the next weeks.
Free samples will be provided to the repeated buyers when it is available.


Second, we will update price for CXB3590 and CXB3070 from Septermber.20:


1. CXB3590 + Ideal 50-2303CR + Ideal 50-2300AN + Reflector KB-D82-90RF, unit price is $37.6-$38.6usd/set.
2. CXB3590 + Ideal 50-2303CR + glass lens KB-HB100-80, unit price is $40.8-$41.8usd/set.
3. CXB3070: $24.0-25.0usd/p

I have a couple of CREE 145w cxa3590's. I have a 2100ma driver for two of them at 300w, I just use them at lower wattage like 1400ma driving them at 50w. peace

Dunno, but you can contact Jerry or Viv at Kingbrite on alibaba.com. I pasted their email into OP. No firm release date AFAIK
