but the thing is everyone ifms effected a little different

cbd helps alot of people...
Rats rendered chronically epileptic by bilateral implantation of cobalt into frontal cortices were simultaneously prepared with permanent electrodes for longitudinal recording of theelectroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyogram (EMG). Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-8-THC; 10 mg/kg), delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9-THC; 10 mg/kg), cannabidiol (CBD; 60 mg/kg), orpolyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) vehicle (2 ml/kg) was administered IP twice daily from day 7 through 10 after cobalt implantation, at which time generalized seizure activity in non-treated cobalt-epileptic rats was maximal. Relative to PVP-treated controls, CBD did not alter the frequency of appearance of seizures during the course of repeated administration. In contrast, both delta-8-THC and delta-9-THC markedly reduced the incidence of seizures

or another

CB1-receptor antagonism resulted in seizure durations that were protracted to a level consistent with the clinical condition status epilepticus. Furthermore, we determined that during an short-term pilocarpine-induced seizure, levels of the endogenous CB1 ligand 2-arachidonylglycerol increased significantly within the hippocampal brain region. These data not only indicate anticonvulsant activity of exogenously applied cannabinoids but also suggest that endogenous cannabinoid tone modulates seizure termination and duration through activation of the CB1 receptor"... cbd is a cb1 antagonist

theres lots of these

thc is similar in that it can help under certain circumstances
mainly in low dose or people with a tolerance.

but im going back to sleeo

Hi All,

I wonder if someone could give me some advice / reassurance.

I have smoked for over a decade, only joints and only in the evenings and at weekends.

My partner and I probably get through a quarter a week.

Something strange happened to me last night, we were having the last smoke of the night in bed, I went to get up and go and get a drink, when I first sat up I had cramp in my toes, I put my dressing gown on, felt light headed and sat back on the bed.

Now from this point for the next few minutes I have no memory, my partner tells me a mentioned I felt like I had chest pulpitations, I took my glasses off and promptly passed out!

I twitched and moaned and was in and out of consciousness for approximately a minute and then started to come round. At first it sounded like my partners voice was distant, my vision opaque and I was really clammy. I sat up, with help, felt dizzy, my stomach felt like it was burning so I laid back down.

I then had bad cramps in my calf's, after another few minutes I felt better, but went cold and my mouth was very dry.

I have been fine since and apart from being tired today relatively normal.

I am on medication and take co-codamol, dicloflex and amitriptyline.

The last piece of relevant information is that the joint we had just smoked was loaded with crystals from the bottom of the grinder.

Now finally to my question, based on the above did I green out or do I need to seek medical attention?

Any advice would be appreciated as I'm quite worried.

Thanks in advance.

you had a syncopal episode. those can be caused by things as benign as dehydration to things as sinister as a brain tumor. the ECG is a good call as people with atrial fibrillation can have syncopal episodes from positional changes. did they do any blood work or check your orthostatic blood pressures? when you are laying down and have sufficiently rested, check your pulse. then stand up, wait about 30 seconds and check your pulse again. is there a major difference in the results?

They have requested for bloods and if I'm honest, I haven't done these yet, just been no time (I know, no excuse). I'm due to go to the hospital to see my rheumatologist go an on going cartilage issue in my left ribs, I'll be having my bloods done then. Not being able to drive due to this episode have hindered what I can do. I have an appointment with the neurologist in September, my partner took out private health insurance just before this started but there's a clause in that, which is why I have gone down this route just yet. Have to wait 3 months to get money instantly back and things have been a bit tight. My resting heart rate is avg 90 but can be higher. My nan had a tumor but this was not the result of her passing away, heart failed. There is a history of heart issue in my family, so could be something to do with this but this has been ruled out so far for me.

You should be speaking to people with real medical licenses
Like doctors

Not people on a pot forum who think they know shit

Take the advice here really with a grain of salt and don't do anything without consulting a real doctor

Not to be rude to you but I was asked a question and I gave a reply, I've always been taught to give a response to those that ask.

As you see from my responses (if you are actually reading them) I am seeing 'real doctors'.

I thought the idea of a forum was to seek experiences that others may have had or advice if a member is in the medical profession (you never know) or am I completely wrong in thinking this?
