There's a lot more to be said on all those. I don't think you really need 10k lumens per sq foot. I've seen lots of good grows with much less.

I'm going with a 250w for my 2' x 3' after much weighing of pros/cons and input from RIA members. My particular 250w MH lamp is nothing special, emits 23000 lumens so thats roughly 5k lumens/sq foot.

10000 is just my personal recommendation for best results
