The problem with experiments, in my experience, is that often times there's a sudden need to improvise. That's not necessarily a bad thing though.New things at moms house (whats new?) Got my 4x2x6 tent, I LOVE IT!! Its the absolute perfect size for right now. Also, I started making a stealth seedling cabinet/nursery from an old broken bureau I had. I'm going to line it with mylar and get my little LED in there with a fan. I am no Tim the ToolmanTaylor, but I do pretty good Will post pics of progress soon. I was going to use my old tent, but its to big for just the 3-4 weeks until they go in big girls tent, and it would be pushing my stealth mode having (2) tents in the apartment. I will try to sell on craigslist or just store it away for now. Also, for my next grow I'm thinking about trying (3) Seedsman Auto Fem WW in different mediums and see what happens:
#1- just FFOF
#2- 1/2 compost/cow manure & 1/2 coir
#3- 1/3 FFOF, 1/3 compost/cow manure & 1/3 coir
I love to experiment.
I have a gallon coco grow that needs fed 3x daily and I can't keep up. Enter 4 gallon bucket with 1 gallon of nutes and 2 airstones. Gallon of coco is suspended to sit in 1" of water. That bottom inch is all perlite in the 1 gal. My plant stays happy now by just topping up the bucket once a day. At the same time the water level gets below the 1 gal pot, the top 1/2" of coco goes dry. Kinda neat. Been doing this for a week. Flushed and checked PH today and it's spot on. Figured since I'm bottom feeding coco, a good weekly flush is probably a good idea.
