im not growing in soil just starting seedlings then going to either a flood and drain or top drip SoG setup.when i take cuttings they will go in my diy hydroponic cloner i built (go read from the start) and then to the tables!!!!!

WELL WE REPOTTED IN HALF GALLON GROW BAGS AND TOPPED THEM I WILL BE TAKING CUTTINGS VERY SOON TO SEE WHAT I GOT WENT AND GOT SOME FF HAPPY FROG AND MADE MY OWN SPECIAL MIX AND REPOTTED IM PRETTY SURE THOSE SPOTS AND STUFF WERE FROM THAT MOISTURE CONTROL SOIL THAT WAS DRENCHED COMPLETELY BURNT THE PLANTS FROM JUST HOLDING SO MUCH WATER MOST OF THE ROOTS WERE REAL HEALTHY A COUPLE LOOKED NOT SO GOOD BUT ANY WAY HERE THEY ARE:weed::weed::weed:

we got the mother room framed up we have to get our panda film to wrap it and theres a few places that have to be caulked to be light tight. you can see the 2 2x4s in the center that will have a door(s) hinged to it they will more than likley swing back towards the wall with the window we gotta cut the piece for the window and attach it.


QUESTION HERE NEED ADVICE AND OPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dunce::dunce::dunce:!!
SHOULD I BUILD A LITTLE BOX ON THE BOTTOM PART OF THE PLYWOOD ON THE WINDOW WITH A FAN IT IT FOR FRESH INTAKE??????????????????????????


BUT ANY WAY ALL WE GOTTA DO IS COVER IT,PUT THE FLOOR IN,HANG THE LIGHTS,AND DO ALL THE LITTLE STUFF WHEN ITS COMPLETE AND WE GOT A MOTHER ROOM. (THEY WILL BE IN 5 GALLON BUCKETS WITH MY OWN PROMIX). THE ACTUAL SoG WILL BE HYDROPONIC!:leaf::leaf::leaf:

........dont remember if your in your own place or not.......or even if you said. I 've always brought air in from underneath the house with great results.......The window would work fine if you make a light trap to make sure no light escapes, and you have to consider fan and any other noise that may or may not be of concern. You could also do it passive and have your exaust doing all of the work pushing your air out(attic?)---the natural draw would bring in the fresh air so you need to make sure to compensate for that when you make the intake(hole must be as big++ as the amount of air being pushed out so you dont over-labor your fan and create too much vacuum...
If air coming from underneath is and option, it also help in the summer when it's real hot out. Where does your exaust go?? I ran mine one winter into our living space and other than a great smell, it practically heated our house...I wish that were an option for me now!

passive intake? never heard of that before i was thinking just have a in coming from under the house or the window and the out vented in the attic do i have to have 2 of everything it sems like i need double o get air in and out

as long as the extractor fan is powerful enough for the space it will draw in fresh air from any available source :) called negative pressure

Yeah, run passive intake. Just run a good exhaust and make sure there are no exhaust leaks. If you set this up your exhaust fan will create a nice low pressure in the grow room, the low pressure in the grow room will bring in fresh air through any open areas, window, door, wherever you want to pull air from.

Passive is great if you leave the grow room door open no odor comes leaking out, fresh air just goes into the room.

INSIDE THE DUCT I WILL PLACE A SMALL INLINE DUCT BOOST FAN TO PULL THE AIR OUT OF THE MOTHER ROOM.(I WILL HAVE A FEW OSICLATING FANS IN THERE TO KEEP FRESH AIR STIRED UP) IN THE FLOWER ROOM WILL BE THE BIG FAN AND CARBON/CHARCOAL FILTER THAT WILL/SHOULD SUCK ALL ODOR FROM ROOM AND I WILL VENT IT INTO THE FLOOR OR ATTIC.

IS THAT CONSIDERED PASSIVE INTAKE?

IS THIS HOW A CAN FAN AND FILTER WORK?
you connect the filter directly to the fan with a flange? you run ducting off the other side to vent/exhaust the air in an attic,floor,or window. so that means that all air that is pushed in the attic,floor, or out the window is all orignaly sucked through the carbon filter first? basicaly you put a dryer sheet over a paper towel roll and blow through it and it will smell good?
IS THIS PRETTY MUCH HOW IT WORKS AND WITH THE FANS AND THE SUCKING FORCE YOU LET STALE AIR OUT AND FRESH AIR COMES IN??????????????

I think you got it. Yes you want the fan right on the filter, the fan pulls on the filter, then you run ducting from the fan to your basement.

Once you have the carbon filter set up exhausting and you have negative pressure, any air that is leaving the room will be leaving through the carbon filter.

Looks good man. I always just put the clones on the floor in the same room as mothers, well just a closet, but it works great, and saves space. I used to set up shelves in the side of the closet for clones, they dont need much light to root.

totaly off subject but im starting a thread some were in wat forum should i post it in. it is for cannabis tattoos and people who aint afraid of showing there love and there expression of ink heres a quick pic of my forearm its the element for THC





*edit* that is when it was first done. were gonna go back and do a 3d effect with like some trichs coming off it an stuff!!! its done with a really really light green color ink i will get a recent pic were you can see the green
