:peace::mrgreen::joint::blsmoke: What up RIU? So here it goes, I'm moving to a new apartment & I talked my ol' lady into letting me build a grow box. So I need to know what are some good specs gor a grow box that can house 4 flowering plants, a mom, & clones at all times constently routating. I was planning on keeping the plants short, but I need green to be continuosly flowering. so I was thinking that if I built something about 4 foot high 4 foot deep & about 5-6 foot long that I could split it into two. I'm also using CFL's for this entire grow. So does anyone have any ideas. I've been looking around for awhile & have some great stuff but nothing like this. I can't afford to just buy a box either because I have seen those, & though it would be great to have one, I can't afford it so any input would be great, or if you need more info from me about what I was thinking just ask & I'll let you know. Thanks everybody. Like I said any info is greatly appreciated:peace::blsmoke::mrgreen::joint:

I basically did the same thing. I wanted the unit self contained (clone, mother, flower, veg). Mothers will be above and below the shelf in the right of the veg chamber. I like sativas so my cabinet is 6.5 tall which allows for 4.5 foot plants. Total demensions 6ft wide , 2 ft deep, 6.5 ft tall. You could make a similar cabinet out of wood maybe that would be 4.5-5 ft tall and use a 400 HPS. Im sure once dialed in you would be able to pull 10-12 oz every 60 days using scrog.

With no C02 or fancy electronics i bet the whole project including nutes for 1-2 grows would come to 500-700 $ total.

I see you want to use cfls. I hate cfls but if you are stuck on them i would do more smaller plants. Why not get a real light? It will save you money in the long run and increase yields. I also feel 1 larger light is easier to deal with in terms of heat then many smaller lights. At least go T5s, i am actually really impressed w/ my t5 in veg. I wouldnt expect it to penetrate deeper than 12" though. like a 192 watt 2 ft 8lb T5 in a 3 foot cabinet with maybe to HO T5s on the side would be sweet. Even them though i would raher have a 250 HPS for flower.

I just thought of something couldn't I grow 2 plants in one pot so I don't have to have so many pot's in the box you know kind of like a buddy system.

Wood sounds fine. Honestly, I don't think you need any help here. You're well on your way already. Hurry up and build that shit so you can throw some plants in there. Nice work so far. Only thing I would suggest is that you get a 400W HPS light for the flowring chamber. That should be plenty of light for four plants. Your buds will thank you.
