New buds till senescence?

Do flowering plants produce new individual calyx's (calyxii?) until the day they die? In other words, will my sativa dominant hybrid produce a certain amount, and then swell them out? Or will it keep pumping new buds out and over ripen along the way?

Any help appreciated, especially from sativa growers.

yes but at the end of the flowering cycle it slows down and everything we start to degrade and possibly die. They'll start producing male flower if flowered for too long and will also die.

So more on the over ripen side, huh? Well this plant is easy to grow, just hard to read
