New cfl+100w mh grow

Finished last grow and decided to change things up a bit so I made a reflector that was barely smaller than my cab and cut out a 6" hole on side for heat extraction ducting
Last grow I finished with 6 23w cfl 2700k + 100w mh and was quiet successful so I decided to go a lil deeper in and add 5 more now (11 total) and next week will be again adding 5 more (16) as I have just today started 12/12 this plant is a budding clone that I've now reveg for 3 wks in 70/30 mix of coco coir/perlite feeding gh maxibloom/cal mag at 6.2 ph and soon to add gh koolbloom powder to her diet
But rly just wantin to know what you guys think if I'm slightly goin overboard with cfl or is there no such thing as too many?
All together with all 16 bulbs accounted for I'm lookin at 368w at around 25600 lumens + the 7000 lumens from 100w mh
Will put me close to 32600 and my cab is 2x2x4 btw she seems to be lovin it now but with that many in such a small space am I just wastin power?

i like how you got it set up. with cfl's i dont think you can do too much, they can cause heat prbs tho, also you can put some lights under the plants, that helps a bit.

Well so far heats not been much of an issue I have a 100 cfm intake fan (can't rly c it in pic but it's in the back left behind plant) then I have a 50 cfm exhaust pulling thru the ducting in pic and then another 50 cfm in main top of cab to even up intake and exhaust at 100cfm and added the small 6" clip fan to blow across lights and push more heat towards duct

edit: 1 more thing to add intake pulls air directly from outside and exhaust goes directly outside so no air is entering room from cab

damn thats nice. i love how bushy it is. gotta give you props on this one. i wonder what causes it to have those rounded non-serated leaves. i have a few of those too.

Reveg...I take all my clones off plants 2-4 wks into flowering (monster cropping) then throw clones back into veg for a cpl wks makes bushy bushy plants with tons of branches no topping or fiming necessary gotta keep lights close tho they do tend to try to stretch a lot
I've seen a lot of posts ppl sayin the bud ends up loose and airy but if u keep lights close as u can get them thru out grow buds turn out very nice and several of them

yeah, i argued on a thread a couple days ago, someone kept saying that you cant get smooth smoke or good taste from cfls.

Bs if ya relatively know what ur doin and don't over think everythin and overcorrect or over do nutes u can get quality smoke with almost any lighting but IMO the smoothness and taste has more to do with ur dry and cure than anything else but takes good growing too

Just added 3 more bulbs puts me up to 14 cfl+1 mh just 2 more cfl to work into place gotta get a cpl y splitters in morning
Due to kinda poor designing on my part I now have to train plant completely over to the left side of the room so I'll be able to spread my light around more and concentrate each bulb or 2 on a single bud later on in flowering but part of the game we play I suppose

Have been thinkin bout purchasing a 150w hps to replace 100w mh during flower but keeping cfls for side lighting
Any opinions on this?
Would it be that much of a boost or would it be more costly to run than it would be effective?
I'm sure the mh will help plenty in such a small cab
as far as light penetration and helping yield paired with the cfls but would a 150 hps be close to same cost to run and be more efficient enuf to even consider buying 1?
Btw I would buy the keystone ballast kit not a pre made or pre wired setup a cpl yrs back I bought a 600w hps of same type from same site and had everything I needed for under $85 just had to wire everything together myself and build a small ballast box and was very very pleased with results but I also know there is quite a difference in 150 and 600 as far as efficiency and now I am on a kinda tight budget and don't want to swap low cost to run current setup as to add sumthin that would be better for plant but worse on bill

Not had much time to update lately but finally caught a break long enuf to check back in and show a few recent pics
I now have 15x 23w cfl + 2x 13w cfl + 100mh decided not to get hps and now she's just into her second week of flowering almost 2 1/2 wks but bushing out like a mother fucker!!
It seems like she's got a new cola everyday lol but seriously with results like I'm havin with this girl gonna have to say monster cropping for this guy for quite awhile I've hit a strain that does very very well much better than any other I've tried
Thinkin bout next grow doin a scrog with a cpl clones but gotta study up never attempted before

Opened door as lights kicked off so worked out pretty good better pics than coulda got with those fuckers on may not believe it but that many cfls in such a sml area is bright as a mother fucker!!

What are you thinking the cured yield will be? My last girl looked about that big, maybe just a tad smaller and I took around 60g with just a 100W LED. Im betting 90!

Well I hope ur right friend I was guessing around 60-65 g but 90 would be nice
I had 2 (at diff times) under 150 hps + 100mh and they both were around 85-90 and these don't seem to be as dense as the others up to this point but they were diff strains also and did not have as many colas as this girl so I was sayin 60-65 cause I like to undershoot slightly so it can't hardly let me down lol
But 5-7 wks left so I'll update at end of every week with new pics
Cfls rly givin 150 hps a run for it's $$ and believe it or not (got bills to prove it) a lot cheaper to run at 368w cfl I haven't changed anythin else at all so has to be lights
Power bill(+100mh to both)
With 150w hps: $196 +/-
With 368w cfl: $170 +/-

Here's a few from Thursday night from now on will be postin new pics every Thursday to show progress up to watering everyday with 1 1/4 gal feed water feed water every evening when I go to water she is completely dry and light as a feather but after 1 1/4 gal of water/nutes heavy as lead so gonna keep givin her what she's wantin been considering adding a PVC drip setup I've made and lettin it feed her for 30min 2x a day
