you could do it and see some decent gains. i'd say in the range of at least 2 oz per plant w/ the light you have now if you do that. But since you up'd the anty with the light then man i'd say let em veg for at least a week or two. You wont regret it, and you aiming for that 1/2 lb right lol so get er done my dude.

NEW UPDATE: ok so i have my new seeds numbered in there dixie cups and 1-4 of my blue cheese has sprouted i am waiting for the last one and my power skunk has yet to sprout but they are a day behind the cheese. i read all night on this forum about 12-12 from seed and i think it just might fit what im trying to do with a short amount of time and alot of plants in a small space. and with atleast 5-8 plants i will still reach my goal. i have reset my timer to 8am-8pm. i also read that for the first week the plants still thnk there vegging anyway and about 17-20 days to tell sex. we will see how it turns out.

12/12 isnt a bad choice my friend, i've done it. I read about it on some other forum and decided to do it cause of height restrictions and I wanted my bud faster. In that first 2 weeks you're going to see some nice upward growth. Like double to possible tripling in height! And you have a decent light now so that's going to help you out a great deal. Also, w/ that light its not going to take you as long to figure out your sex either, so you gotta love that. Normally I've seen in most cases after switching somewhere around what u said, a lil less give or take.

The set up is looking much improved, i have done 12/12 from seed before and it turned out great, the plant grew a little weird but was just one dense cola, got about 3/4 an o of a 1.5 ft tall plant lol. but one question, do you have drainage holes in those containers? it looks like they are directly on the carpet so i am assuming no. You should punch like 5 holes in the bottom of those big containers and put a serving tray like the ones at any fast food restaurant underneath them to catch the run off water.

yes there are holes in them all alot to and yes my bumb ass lets it drip on the carpet because i just dnt care i willfix that soon i guess haha

New update: Ok so blue cheese 1-4 sprouted and i have them in new pots now and my power skunk number 1 sprouted and is in a new pot as well. My power skunk number 5 just sprouted this morning but have yet to transplant. Today is there 2nd day of 12-12. Oh yeah pics biiiiiiiitch.

the heat on the hps is good its 78-81 at my plants its really not bad on heat at all. its much warmer then a cfl though. i am waiting for my last blue cheese to sprout i hope its not a dud.

New update: So i have sprouted 7 out of 10 seeds. 4 blue cheese and 3 power skunk. I havent put the last power skunk in a pot yet though. Im guessing my fifth bc was a dud it just wont sprout and the power skunk arent feminized so i dont no how far they will make it.

New update: My sprouts are looking much better now and my bagseeds have really really started to stretch out especially the one in the orange pot its been 5 nights on 12/12 and its goten much taller since the start.

They like to take off in height at the beginning of flowering. Its heavenly! lol the bagseeds are looking good though and the seedlings

New update: I have found a mial in the garden and i t must be exterminated. I found a small round seed on one of my plants in the white bucket so she will get the chop this mornin and new pics.
