Soon you will be there brother! Most cfls are self ballasted! If they fit in a reg fixture they will run in a reg fixture:)

The cfl in this pic will work in any reg socket!! Just make sure its safe and isnt pulling its self out of a plug or anything:)

im growing 9 diesel ryders in pots..

.. And i bought an aerogarden just for shits to see how it does when complimented with more light.--

there will be 1 diesel ryder and 5 white skunk fems in the ag..

additional lighting:

6-120w cfls (cool)
2- 4' t5 (cool)
2-200w full spectrum daylight bulbs....hanging from above in the pic.

Still waiting on the two big bulbs.

nice ive got a whole load of cfl watts.. im so exited to see some green.


I am planning on making some homemade co2 things from yeast, water, and sugar.

I hear the c02 thing works out well but the temps need to be in the 80's so shut down the fans when your making c02:) plants cant use extra c02 at room temp over 80 it floats under 80 it sinks so high heat and release low near the dirt:)

yo im having heat issues.. temps are running into 90's.

any solutions that dont include cutting a whole in the unit, take up much space, or make the unit "unstealth"? lol

Yeah, definitely gonna need more air movement. But it's lookin' good man, glad to see everythings coming along. Where did you order those high wattage bulbs from by the way?

Edit: Try getting some of those clip fans and put em on that hangar rod at the top.

dok I pulled the pressboard backing away from the unit to make a gap to allow air flow.. i put the fan in the space between, so it is forcing the air out. resting temp is 83

Alright cool man, sounds a lot better. The temperature should go down a bit more by tomorrow. I'm gonna subscribe to this, I'm already getting excited. You gotta a hella lot of lights up in there!
