When using pentane is winterizing still needed to make the oil compatible with e pens?

It is not necessary as pentane does not pull the waxes and other undesired components the way that alcohol does. Winterization can be done if your goal is to get a 100% pure extract but this requires more than just winterization.

The simple Alkanes like Pentane and Butane are non polar, as are the plant waxes, so they behave similarly with regard to plant wax extraction. You can minimize plant wax pickup by extracting below -50C.

The results would be similar but alchol needs a higher temp to boil and alchol is harder to purge and will leave some undesirable components.

He didn't say 100% pure extract, but "winterization" would be helpful to get rid of the remaining fats/waxes/lipids. As to help not clog or gum up your pen. No?

The folks at StonerHaven.com will be doing a full video review soon. This is what they posted.
Were doing a Video Review/Test of the Oil X Green System this week, just need weather to cooperate with a little bit. Hardest part is choosing what strains to try it with! I received the kit on Friday afternoon and I will tell you its a well thought out and put together product, all us DIY'ers will appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this design. It was well packed and is all very high quality parts and pieces from the SS tubing to the Petri dish for final drying of the Extract.

Very nicely put together! I am typically not someone who impresses easily unless your a good looking woman....lol...but I am thoroughly blown away by how well laid out this system is. I think a lot of people see the price tag without realizing how much value they are actually getting for $199. I cant see anything that has been overlooked by the Oil X Green guys.
