New Cuttings

I was fortunate enough to get some nice babies today. They are about 6" tall and have large leaves and a few branches with leaves. HOw long before I can put them under my 4OOwatt MH? How long before I start nutes? Since they are cuttings from mature veggin mothers how long before I can go HPS? This is the grow setup im useing if it matters any.

Are they rooted? If so, you could now. Some say to keep them under CFLs for a couple weeks, but if they have a sufficient root system, you could do it now.

Thanks, i just checked and yes they have roots poking out the sides and bottom. Another q, i am putting them in 4" pots or rather thats what I have on hand. Is that too small to go the distance with?

wayyyyy too small.
you can start flowering whenever you want.
the longer you let it veg, the more growth will occur.
with more growth you can produce more buds.
it's a patience game.

Thanks Dub. Actually with my setup its a size game, I have less than 4ft of vertical before getting within 12" of light. Since the 4"er's are too small should I just go straight to large pots? what size?

Ive got the pots figured out so disregard last post. I have a new questkion. when do I start nutes and when do I go full strength?
