back with an update.. Had a hectic night, I found a hermi, my prized Chernobyl. Had to chop it, put the whole plant in to a batch of butter. Making caramels tomorrow out of it. I think the herm was my fault, just threw another cut of it in flower to make sure.

on to the good stuff.
Veg room, everyone is happy. Always taking new clones

LOL ... I may be a Yankee fan, but I am old school and not about the big money these guys make nowadays. It's a crying shame that now one cannot even afford to park the car at a game, never mind paying tickets to see the game !! :-(

Budwich Bro .... So sorry about your Chernobyl being a hermie, but I heard that those make the best butter :-) j/k . The update pics look great, and I can already smell the plushberry and how that does smell sweet. Your layout, and the entire operation of your grow area is awesome. I know that if I owned my own property, I would probably ask you for ideas, for I saw a lot of great ones that you had operating, especially the R/O system. I really did appreciate the tour, as well as the donation to my garden. All (8) girls are doing great, and are already growing well in their new digs for week number one :-)

We may be going down your way within the next 2 weeks .... Can you PM me the name of the restaurant that you are at. My memory is sort of short lately :-)

Thanks again Bro :-) Love Ya !!

Again thanks for the love guys, I have tried so hard to make this a streamline op, meaning any thing that goes in had the best potential to be its best. Not sure if I achieved that, but they seem happy anyways. The Vortex is blowing my mind, not sure if you noticed one pic has buds forming on the fan leaves. That has got to be a good sign huh?

Just finished making caramel chews out of the butter. I put the whole plant in 5 sticks of butter....I am now worried they will be way to strong:shock: They are in the fridge overnight, Ill cut and wrap tomorrow and post pics then.

On a side note, I have an interview with Kate from CCM on Tuesday. Any insight on them...Are they worth it? I feel like they just offer to find you patients, but I have done that on my own, and will continue to.

Bob..the RO system you speak of is actually a de-chlorinator, it does not take any minerals out of the water. PPMs stay the same (mine out of the tap reads 30-35). The chlorine will kill all my microbes in the soil, so instead of evaporating it off for 24 hrs before watering I figured this is better. I cant afford the humidity that would add.

In the first you state the room is 4 inches off the ground, can you explain the benifits of this. You say the air flow helps. Also did you do this by building on pallets I something?

Peace

I just wasnt sure if there would ever be a water problem in the basement. This was an easy way to fix that. I put 2x4 every 16 inches as floor joists, and there are cross braces running the opposite way. They are resting on 2x4s on the cement pinned with a ram set. There are screened openings at the "front" and "back" of the room. Allows air to move through there, and I think it keeps the floor cooler, but not as cold as the concrete would be.

Hey budwich, your setup & your girls look good man. I am growing chernobyl outdoors this year. She is a very vigorous & branchy girl. You can't go wrong with tga genetics, although your herm issue might not be your fault. I have not had herm issues with tga gear yet but I have heard of a few other growers getting herms. I have also had bud growth on fan leaves, it was on a tga plushberry. Keep up the good work bro......

thank you man, Im not sure about the herm. I threw another cut of it into flower to make sure it wasnt my fault...which it could be. I have plushberry going, 4 plants and 4 different phenos. That is the one thing I can day about tga. They bring the fire, but you have to find it.

Just finished making the caramels and rolling them all out. I have a little over 100 "rolls" (about 3x the size of a tootsie roll). I ate 2 the first night I made them to test the strength and was totally out of it for about 10 hrs. Ill post a pic when I get a sec.

Girls are looking good, another update will come soon

I've been running some Pineapple Express for a few crops now. All from a freebie bean. I recently made the decision to let go of some strains and get down to a few keepers, and the PEX was a keeper lol. Great smoke, good yielder.

I like the P.Ex, grew it out 3 or 4 times. I have phased it out of the flower room and will probably keep a cut for a little while. I have so many beans to run through I just dont have the room for it right now.

Im trying to figure out what the next round of of bean I should crack. I will probably crack 10-15, and would LOVE some help from you guys on what you think will be a stand out. Below is a list of my current seed collection:
5pk- tga ripped bubba
5pk - tga AOS
5pk - tga Pandoras box
10pk - rare dankness moonshine haze
10 pk - emerald triangle grapefruit krush
10 pk - blazing pistileros erkle x purple #1
10 pk alfakronik jackpot royal
probably 20 variety freebies

Pandora's Box is a nice potent smoke.

If I was you I'd go, 3 PB, 3 AOS, 3 Ripped bubba, 3 Grapefruit Krush, and 3 erkle/purple

Sub charges too much unstable polys. And his Space Dude is notorious for weak offspring that herm with minimal stress. I'd run the RD, BP, and alfakronic gear long before i ever popped Sub's overhyped phenohunt beans.

I agree his beans are super overrated for what they are. But I gotta say if you are willing to hunt the dank is there. I am thinking Ill crack a 10 pk of moonshine haze and a 5 pk of one of tga's. I am working on an order from ocean grown genetics. Their gear looks great, but there seems to be so little info on much of their gear.
