just make sure it doesn't have anything like lavender or any other crap like that. just plain old epsom salts.

Thanks man, will see how it goes next few days. Pushed my EC up 0.1 and PH down 0.1 so I gave it a bit of fresh water to mellow out back to what it was (1.4 EC 5.5 PH)

How much hydroton in there? all the way to the bottom? how deep the water in the bucket?

Yep all the way to the bottom. Water was just below the net pot. The drain is basically in the net pot centre with this system

Not really, it’s only a few handfuls. These get moved between rooms for different stages so need a decent stable base for the plants once they grow in.
