Hmm.. I'm sorry you feel that way man.. I worked damn hard to get these to how they are right now.. took years and quite a bit of money.. but I guess supporting somebody who is sharing something like this is not warranted.. and that's fine.

I understood that the darker the trichomes the less potent they are which make sense since we are all looking for a high % of milky and little amber but the difference seems very high in any case

Let's not go back to the bad vibs PLEASE. You are not secretive but you don't give it all at the same time and it rub the wrong way many. You are more diplomatic about it this time and everybody should appreciate the gesture on the other hand.
Now if you want us to do a tapped session you will have to give details and it will be on Youtube for all to share so sooner or later what is the difference.
I don't really understand your position because I have been trying to teach all I learned during my travel and share the experience I have of traditional techniques. In my eyes not sharing the size of your screen is "silly" but at the same time I cannot really judge until I have had a session with you.
If you are afraid of copycat there is always the solution of patenting your technique and tools.

I am trying to patent it right now as we speak, hence not sharing exact sizes. I gave up the sizes @ another site back in August and that thread had close to 30k views.. it's not really a secret what sizes I *was* using.. and those produced very good quality as well. If they want to copy they are more than welcome to do so from that information and the hundreds of posts I made there.. I know people don't all know about that thread, or didn't, but I can't help that..

It is what it is.. there will always be people who are mad they can't know it all.. again.. lol.. can't really help that.. I see people left and right buying far more expensive products that don't work nearly as well.. all i'm trying to do is offer a cheaper, more efficient solution.. and still getting crap from people.. sigh.

I have tried to take vids of it melting but currently don't have anything worth posting. Give me a day or two.. I can come up with that.. I think. Problem is a camera with a nice enough lens and video capability.. I took a huge step back from growing/setting up rooms/etc. in order to do this all legal and such.. so my line on trim is almost zippo right now.

I'm in N.Cal.. you'd think it would be easier to find lol.

In theory he is stacking screens to separate the heads and tails from the trichomes

basically that bottom screen is catching the hairs as the heads fall through the fine holes

I decided to start a small business since said screen company was making a killing off of it.. and well, why not? The sizes posted in the other thread weren't really right.. yeah they worked good but they had stopped making my sizes a handful of years ago.. it didn't work quite as well and I figured why not bring them back and make a small bit for myself? Nothing major but you get the idea.

For anyone wondering.. the resin heads are round and heavy.. while the cap. stalks are lighter.. and longer.. as they fall down to the bottom screen, they fall sideways in the air and criss cross, while the heads 'dink' their way down and through w/o any effort.

We figured out a very, very cool trick.. that's all.. heh..

What else would you guys want to know that hasn't been discussed thus far?

most people here on RIU are aware that trichomes vary in sizes, so technically several different size screens would work fine.

so your custom sized screens aren't entirely necessary. IMO

Not all sizes work. 11 years and plenty of runs taught me that. But you can obviously experiment all you want with all different sizes..

Not trying to be rude or start any fight/argument at all, but from a legal standpoint, it seems you may have a few issues with getting a patent, or at the very least enforcing it. Hope you're going through an attorney for your patent to make sure you're not wasting time/money &#8211; you may have issues with novelty and nonobviousness, as dry sifting and its techniques have been around for ages.

Again, not trying to start any fights or anything, I just feel it may not be able to qualify for a patent, and if it does, I'm not sure it could stand up to a challenge if someone started making screens with the same size holes and whatnot. Just trying to be helpful!
