New England/BC Outdoor Strain guide

Hello all!

First and foremost I'd like to say good luck to everyone & their current endeavors.

Now, I'd like to know of proven & available outdoor strains for this crazy outdoor climate we have. I know there's a clone only strain around new england called mother of berry which I wouldn't mind but I prefer starting from seed.

I have compiled a few that would do well for our humid days, colder nights, and quick harvest season (hypothetically, I've only done two autoflower grows to make sure I had my medium perfect) they are:

Female Seeds- Maroc & Purple Maroc.

Sweet Seeds- any of their f1 fast versions are a photoperiod/ auto cross that advertise photoperiod likeness with a shortened flowering time, done by Sept 15 they say.

Any pure Afghan strain you can find as they finish flowering in less than 55 days

Next Generation seed company- They're out of Canada so I'd assume all their outdoor strains are hearty and fast finishing

ANY INFORMATION IS ABSOLUTELY ENCOURAGED AND GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS

Lots of variables out this way, best bet check out so threads/posts to this area.you will have to just run some that sound good and see how it goes.and remember mother nature will throw a wrench in at some point every year.

I hear that! Mother Nature always has a knuckle ball ready to throw at you. I really want to try Sweets F1 fast versions..only because the combo of the Hybrid Vigor and the semi autoflower seems to good to pass up.

The only reason I'm hesitant is because they're out of Spain...completely different climate than us. So regardless of what they advertise their genetics aren't climatized for New England.

Female Seeds is out of Netherlands and I have read and heard great things about their Purple Maroc. Perfect for our climate I'd assume.

m.o.b molds all to shit in the mid coast of maine on the islands
You're the only person I've heard this from but also the only person not trying to sell me a bunch of MOB clones haha! Thanks for the honest review.

What would you recommend for a feminized strain?

I run a Sphagnum base with Lime, Earthworm Castings, and Pearlite. Then I feed with an organic fertilizer I made with the General Hydroponics Organic nutrients they carry. Its a 5-0-6 during veg which I slightly increase as they grow..and once they start to flower I switch to a 1-6-5 bloom. Also gradually increasing as flowers get bigger.

I throw a CalMag supplement in ever couple feeds too..the Lime has a decent amount so I go easy with it but they seem to need it heavy into veg.

Thanks guys

Actually there are some good strains from Spain, dinafem, have run a bunch from them before.

Biggest factor is the area where you are gonna grow.something that could work for me and not work you .then you could narrow down the list.
