New England OutDoor: Need Advice from RIU Community

So this is my first post on here... Would love some advice from you guys.
I have been researching strains/seedbanks to use for an outdoor 2013 grow, however it has become difficult for me to choose.
Looking for 2 Strains.
Location- New England Area
I am most importantly considering Yield & Potency; but I have no clue if the strains will finish on time. I know indicas would be more suitable for my climate.
Ease of growing is also beneficial as this will be my first.
This year I will be running Fem seeds, so that is a factor also.

So after weeks of looking around on the internet... i have narrowed it down to some particulars.

DNA Genetics and RP:
Attitude is running a promo in Jan, & free seeds is always nice.
So : Chocolope? Kushberry? Not sure of finishing times of any of these strains, could use help.

What I have been leaning towards is Dutch Passion:
Frisian Dew & Hollands Hope. Not sure how strong these guys are, but I think they would finish on time?
Maybe Jorges Diamond or Passion or anything purple?

TGA:
Heard a lot of good about TGA, so
Agent Orange ... any other recommendation?

Serious Seeds :
Ak47,Biddy Early,Chronic, Bubblegum

These are the seedbanks/strains I have narrowed down if I were to make the choice myself without any prior knowledge.
Hopefully you guys could help shed some light on them, or even just suggest good plant strains that will finish on time.

Thankyou!

how will you be starting your seeds off? indoors under lights? or later in the spring/summer directly in the ground outdoors?

Make sure if your gonna take all this risk that the genetics are worth it, A lot of the early strains don't have the best potency because there crossed with ruderalis. For instance i grew Early Girl from sensi seeds and it was okay, but not what the folks up here are used too. You can always force flower your plants outside with a shelter/tarp of some kind to kick them into flower when you want.

I was planning on directly in the ground. I know potency will not be great but im sure there are indicas that are still nice, am i wrong?

My "friend" has given good reports on both Holland's Hope and Friesan. The Holland's might go into October though. You might consider some Texada.

If you have the space pop inside and take some clone cuttings when they're in veg. Grow the seed plants out and harvest, whichever plants where the best producers, smoke, ect., you keep that plant's clones as your mother. If the mother gets to big or out of control just prune or just clone her and you have a new mother. I'm in New England also and thats what I'm doing. I'm going with a indica strain also. Yes you could pop the beans outside but why not go big and clone, plus you'll save some money on seeds.

You could also check out some autoflowers also. Some would finish in July, avoiding the harsh fall we can have here in New England. DrGreenthumb has some good genetics, though he is a little on the pricey side.

im on the same boat man, i wanna find a strain that can handle alittle cold. im prob gonna go indica but i want something strong

I am not too sure if I am capable of cloning/growing inside, thats the one problem I have. So growing straight in the ground would probably be one of my only choices.

I would try to focus on ibl strains from america and latin america, here in the northern reaches we used to have ducksfoot indica wonderful new england strain, also something to consider is how damn wild are spring summers can be. seesm to warming slowly tho so you should go kiss simple first run imho. Ive heard swiss strains do well in our area but again mixing euro strains and our american ibl's is something i would not do myself.ducksfoot indica.jpg

TBarnys farm LSD is plenty strong and finishes late Sept. Your biggest issue will probably be the same as mine, mold. Good luck with your grow.
