I've grown a few in pots, but it's mostly in the ground. I do notice the ones in pots don't have all the fert stealing roots from surrounding trees like in ground does.

Separated the soils added drainage and rebuilt soil with amenities. That took a while. Did it for 2 reasons. Cannatree and to ensure my wife's suspicions of my mental state
I know plants love it. My point being is I have noticed that people who do foliar feedings (and your spray have to be on the acidic side for the plant to absorb the nutes) are more likely to get rot or pm.
thing about serenade u have to spray in evening sun light kills the bennies in it,useless to spray in the sun
only thing I have sprayed is neem an spinosad,ya dew points in the 50s is nice an dry its been 70 plus here for weeks

Ya, its the only thing i spray after sunset. Lil warrior's will take care of it.
Although this bottle of concentrate says it can be applied any time of day and in direct sun. I still do it at sun set cause i don't wanna smell it haha
lol what don't like the smell of dirty ass!! do a little research any one spraying in full sun is wasting there money but I agree it wont hurt the plant
I have read about this. Not much of a foliage feeder and it was awhile ago so having trouble with the details. Absolutely right tho, destroy its environment and it goes too. Really squeamish about screwing with the Ph but it can be done in some way that won't cause lockout. Anyway no holds barred when your battling mold.I know plants love it. Because just like you said the conditions have to be right for it to grow. 2 main factors are a cold ACIDIC enviroment.
Hence the fact that I have been spraying a lot with silica because of the high alkaline ph of it. So not only am I feeding my plants but I just changed the leaf ph to make it a place where mildew and mold can not grow.
Like I said It's just a theory about the feedings and mold issues. Just couldn't figure out why I don't get it like everyone else and the only thing I do differently other then this yr is I have never sprayed anything.
Alkaline spray at night in high humidity would make sense. Wouldn't want to get too much on roots obviously.

My biggest grew 2' in 8 days. Truly no other plant like it. Amazing to watch them this time of year.
