New England outdoors 2018

Isn't Amnesia Haze supposed to be a long flowering (10-12 weeks) strain? I would think it would be tough to mature growing outdoors in New England.
Yup. "Almost impossible" is what I was told. I grew a few of them just to see what I could do. I have only ever messed with indicas before this.

But...2 of my 3 amnesia hazes are miles ahead of everything else as far as flower production goes. They literally look a month ahead of my skunks and kushs.

No clue what is going to happen long term, if you go back a few pages there are a few posts from me saying how sad it was that they are doing so well because I know they probably wont make it, but I'm going to do everything I can to take them the distance.

I'd love to have some NE outdoor Amnesia Haze to offer friends and family this fall...so far so good. But I'm not holding my breath.

Hello fellow NE growers. My north shore outdoor sativas (3) are about 9' - 10' each and appear to be healthy girls. I topped them early and are now about 2 weeks into flowering. I have already pruned many of the very large fan leaves, should I continue to prune these large fan leaves that near to the baby buds shown in the pics? Any and all replies appreciated. Thnx. flowering outdoors 2 wks b.jpg

Personally the only time I would remove a leaf was to get more air for the buds to prevent rot. Tho even with my thick plants I won't remove any leaves.
Those solar panels are what makes energy to make your buds bigger.

OK I'll keep these outer 'solar panels'..... most of the big leaves already pruned were on the inside of these trees and now allow better air flow. Get me to Oct.......

I leave them. Light penetrates so deep outside that unless it's an airflow issue I leave em all.

I went down the sativa road this year for the first time (Amnesia Haze)and I'm really hoping they finish in time! Looks like I got a few good phenos this time (as far as flower time goes) because 2 of the 3 I have are weeks ahead of all the indicas for flower and trichome production.

So when do you expect yours to finish. I am thinking mid - late Oct.gets me to 10 weeks?? If it starts to get cooler outside it should ramp it up correct/

Thank God it's almost Fall! It's the best season. I wish it was fall all year long.

Everyone is doing good still. Some CalMag deficiencies in the 3 smartpots but I think I got on top of it. They are all bulking up nicely in their little 5gal pots! Finding those thin little carapillars here and there every few days. Gonna grab a bottle of Capt Jack's later on.

The 5 in the ground are looking T H I C C...the Amnesia in the middle is over 7' and the rest are around 5'. Looks like they are almost done reaching and it's time to get fat.
