I'm a hard core HID person, and have been for several years. I'm not a contest person either (I've never entered one), but put up your biggest and best light and I'll throw my hat into the ring. I would literally need to test out an LED for myself before I would ever purchase one, so I'd need one gifted or loaned for at least two full runs before I'd even consider hanging up my old school lamps.
 
If you'd like to send me a light to test out, feel free. I always post reviews on stuff here that I get, I would be doing a side-by-side. I just linked up with torus hydro and will be testing out their perfect PH unit, and a TS 600 would fit nicely in my home-made chamber.
