New grow cabinet. Suggestions? Opinions?

Hello everyone! I've been lurking around for a little while trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can from you good people and I've picked up quite a bit so thank you all! I'm finishing up my little grow cabinet and I'm looking for some suggestions/opinions on what I've done so far. I'm just waiting on my 300w LED (from eBay, nothing fancy) so I can get started. Thank you in advance for any comments/criticisms. So without further adieu, my little cabinet...

Thanks. Quick question though. I was admiring another member's design (kblizz) and it made me wonder: Do you think that I should add a couple of T5 strips on the sides (maybe one on each wall) to increase the lighting, or is that overkill?

More light is never overkill if you can manage the heat. It will tak up room though, so may not have room for them if you get a couple nice, bushy plants in there. And is that a pc fan for intake at the top? If you have that big inline fan pulling air out, I would have passive intake (Meaning remove the pc fan an let the negative pressure created by the big fan pull fresh air in). Also, I would have those intake vents be towards the bottom of the tent. This will make it so the fresh air passes the plants. They don't love stale air :)

Looks pretty good man. I look at everyones type of exhaust and intake and what is so funny is that my set up is backwards from everyones but seems to work just great never needing to cool off my light at all.. I've had people tell me that its wrong. but it seems to work actually better in my situation this way.. least the cooler air cools of light fixture without compromising the lens. and the scrubbed air is then diverted outside and cools my ballast.. what do you guys think.. I am very new and somewhat retarded when it comes to growing anything. but I'm trying

I actually have 2 intake holes (one on top, and one on the bottom). The one on the top was actually supposed to be for my inline fan, but I cut the hole in the wrong place (I'm a dumbass, lol ) so I just stuck another fan in there. Those fans are bigger than pc fans (about 4.5 in.). I see what you're saying about my space limitations though.

you should cover the top hole with a small board or something, even duct tape would work. Get the fresh air coming from the bottom so it moves over your plants while being forced up.

I would be careful with adding the T5 in a small cabinet like that. I say that because odds are in a smaller space like that the plants will grow and fill up that entire area. If you run T5 vertically in each corner of the cabinet you have to be careful the plants do not touch the lights as they can get pretty hot. I ran T5 supplemental lights horizontally along the sides at the height where it would provide light to the lower part of the grow under the canopy to avoid the plant growing into my lights. I have some use fixtures that cover the lights but would imagine that cuts out some of the light. I have seen people use T8 as well and those lights don't get as hot as a T5. Cabinet looks good, I just got a LED myself but paid a little more and went with the AREA 51 light.

I like it. Looks really clean. If you were doing led you should have done a budboss. Jigfresh just finished a grow with them and his plants look great and are nice and dense.

Personally, I would have put an hps in there. I have a vertical scrog setup in my cabinet.
