New grow in the world

It's been awhile since my last grow...like 7 years...I'm relearning everything. A few questions:
1) How often do I water my new babies? There is 1 gallon pots with foxfarm ocean.
2) How far should the light be from the canopy? I have it at 1ft right now.
3) Should I do 18/6 or full 24?

I'm excited to watch these babies grow!!

1 - i'd say water 200-250ml every day
2 - minimum 6"
3 - depends on the strain but generally 16/8 - 20/4 is good

I have them 2in from the canopy at the moment. I'm gonna go with 20/4 cycle.

I was also thinking about adding 1 400w HPS. Would that be ok to use with my 125w cfl for both stages?

for sure. a 400w dual spectrum bulb would do nicely
