Yeah, it does happen quick, thats why My decision will be today. From the time you see your first pod, you have about 7-11 days before they open.

If you cut off them as you see them, it wont be that bad. Its not the worst to have seeds in your bud, I just dont want em filled with seeds, but I have a feeling it will be dead today!

Did you see the pics of the hairs on page 25?
 
just got done lookin at them..very nice! that was some fast change from veg to flower!..i agree with Beech, never seen it happen so fast

I havent either.

And honestly, I have no idea what caused it to change over so fast. Things like that get my thinking, so now I will be researching it until I find the answer. I guess thats how I learn alot, I always want to know everything about whatever I am doing. Always want to know MORE......EDIT....My others are taking forever to show there sex, its weird how those to went from veg, to preflower right into flowering. I want to see how fast it changes once the others show sex. As soon as they do I will let you know.

And this really interests me.

Real sweet bro. GREAT JOB. I noticed you had said about your males root structure. I have been curious if it is possible to identify a male from soley the root structure???? hmmmmm stoner ambition! lol

No, you can't. (as far as I know) I was just really happy with the root system. And that was awhile ago, so I could just imagine how my big ones roots look now. Especially the ones in the 3gallon buckets.

i just removed the branches with the banans my main cola and the nuggets below it are fine but im keeping alll eyes open if the main nugs get bananas i wil cut the whole thing down:(

Ok....Its 8:00 and only 2 votes and its a tie. So I guess I am the tie breaker huh? I am gonna cut off the balls, if they grow back its coming down.

I guess Ill give it another hour before I make the final decision. See if anyone else pops in and votes

Pollen have been known to travel alot further than just rooms.

There were only a few balls so I cut em uff, if they grow back then I will kill it. It looks like the Ak is a female, and the jerry berry, and Skunk#1 not sure.

So if I do kill the afgan, because balls grow back. I will have one girl, the jerry berry wich is budding nicely
 
i cut the bananas off one of my girls and she is fine now! no probs i cut all branches off that were infested and they didnt come back.

Nah, none of them needed. I know exactly would I should do, kill it, but I wanted to see what others think. Get them involved in the grow kinda...Something different

I got more people telling me to keep it and shop off the balls, so I did. Keeping a close watch on it, If it developes more balls its gone. It wont effect my crop because they wont grow mature enough to open, I wont allow it, it will be dead before that happens. I figure I have no need for any seeds, even if it were a few, I have plenty now :leaf:

I checked The Afgan when I woke em up this morning, Nothing has grown back so far, thats a plus. Sometimes they dont, but then sometimes they do and u have to kill it.

The Jerry Berry is budding BEAUTIFULLY along with the Afgan.

The AK...still not clear on that. It appears to be one single hair still where a preflower should emerge. Waiting to see the classic V hairs then I will confirm its a female.

The other Jerry Berry looks like its gonna be a male. As soon as I see a actual ball or cluster it will be killed. I am not 100% sure yet its a male. Should be able to tell bye tonight or tomorrow.

The Runt, Skunk#1 started growing how they do when they are ready to preflower and show sex, then start budding.

It is under 18/6 light, but looks like its ready to go. I want to keep it in Veg longer. Thinking until I find out the sex of the other jerry Berry. If the JB turns out male, The skunk will be put into 12/12. If not ill veg a lil longer. Looks like it wants to auto flower?

I have a few going on my second rotation, they are looking good.

So...I believe its day 9 flowering. There is much noticable amount of bud growth since the last pic, so I figure I will wait another day or two then take some pics of it.

Maybe ill take a pic of that AK today. That sucker is 2ft tall. Its gonna be a big one if its a girl.

Mine so far has not come back. Sometimes they dont, but sometimes they do. See, its a defense mechanism. When the plant gets stressed it creates those banannas to insure there species lives on. Sometimes there is only a few. You can pluck em off, and sometimes they never grow back. They only grew them few to insure there species survival.

Sometimes you get a straight up hermie and you can pluck em and pluck em and they will keep coming back. This was a hermie because of stress. So they might not grow back.

I went and took a few pics of the AK. I will upload them and post em up tonight. The pictures of the AK came out so good. Its such a monster, with big thick leafs, and a huge stem.
