New Grow Journal, Afgan, Skunk#1, Jerry Berry, AK47

Hey everyone,

I decided to start a grew journal here in the proper place since my grow is going good.

If you want to catch up to where I am at, check out the link in my sig. That has todays updates in it.

All further updates will be posted in here.
Here is what I am working with.

250W HPS, and another 150WHPS on its way. I am using a CFL shoplight as side lighting.

I made a grow cab. Its about 5 feet wide, 3 feet deep, and 4 feet tall.
If my plants outgrow it, I can move them out of the cab.

Yesterday I identified and killed one male. So I am down to 5 potential females.

All further updates and pictures will be posted here. I might still post in the other journal though. You can see my update pics from today there. The link to that journal is in my sig. Its in the General Marijuana section.

I figure I create a journal here, for others looking for grow journals. Enjoy

The grow cab I built, The black thing to the side is my entertainment center. My cab is to the left of the entertainment center if you were looking at it. I got all my old systems hooked up to it.

I have a big surround sound system in living room, Only have a 36 inch TV, but the surround sound is insane. The sub rocks my whole place. I have my ps3 on that setup in the living room.

Oh, you mean that wood finish, the floor. Thats my beedroom floor. Lol.

Got it in a good spot for a picture.

I'm excited about your grow man, subscribed! Do you think you could use the 150W HPS for side lighting? That would be sick!!! :shock:

Haha, sorry about the male, hopefully it's the last! Remember, innocent until proven male.

Yeah man. He proved himself male, so he was killed. In my other journal, I have pics of him and his root formation after he was pulled.

Well, Dont think I could use it as sidelighting, because HID lights get very hot, they would need to be 8inches or more away.

I probably will have a 250 on one side, and the 150 on the other, and keep my CFL shoplight as side lighting.

Yeah, well not really on the sides, one will just be on the right side, it would be over the tops, and the other would be on the left side, it would be over the tops on that side.

And I will keep my ShopLight Moutned on the wall as side lighting. I am going to put it width wise, Its a 6inch CFL so thats decent extra lighting!

Witch plant. I have topped 2 plants 2 times. First top was at the actual top, then it became two, then under the first 2 tops, I topped the side shoots too. From experience I know what to top and how to make them nice and fat with many colas.

there are a total of 3 topped plants, one was only topped once. 2 were topped twice The rest are not topped. The runt was topped, he was the one only topped once. The afgan was topped twice, and the....jerry berry or skunk was topped twice. The AK is the one I believe is not topped, And then whatever the one out of the jerry berry and skunk has not been topped. I will check the next time I am in there.

I am leaving the 2 untopped, just to see the difference. I really hope the rest are girls.

One has been in 12/12 for 10 days not, The afgan that started the preflowering stage has not shown sex yet, it will be put in 12/12 as soon as it does.

You grew AK before right? Can you guess what one is the AK? I will have to go back and check the pots, they are marked, but I know what picture is witch, so I want to see if you can spot it. Providing my AK looks similar to yours...witch it should I would think

i think its number 5, but i've never grown aks, just seen other pics

I know if your right or now, I will let you know, PM ya. I want to see what one somebeech thinks is the AK47. Befire I didn't know, but I checked em out, now I know what one is the AK
