THis is my first grow outside and i have sum sensi star seeds. I live near the water around NYC so like 40-50 Latitude.I plan to put them in the ground around end of march, do you think it will work well?

when you grow as close to the coast as us you might need to start earlier or a bit later just keep an eye on the weather the biggest snow storm we had in ten years was march 30 in 97-98 i forget but it shows how crazy global warming is when my mom was a kid they never got smow after early feb!
also you might want to start them inside just grab some solo cups and 1 or 2 cfls you can get prob 10 seedlings going under 1-2 cfls im starting indoors on march 1 and when we get the last frost i will move them outside!
you can fill panty hose with your soil mix and tie it into lil balls and start seedling in these too then just pop in the ground and it will grow right through the pantyhose!! you can throw a bunch in a bookbag with a mini shovel and go off into the woods!

yea i'll probably put them in the ground around april fools day, but only if the temperature is atleast 50-60 degrees out
