Hey Forum, breaking cherry on this post. I'm an old outdoor grower from the early 80's and had my first room up in 1992 only to get it destroyed Aug 24th by hurricane Andrew. 23 Years later I'm building new room and could use layout tips from the pros. Here is what I have; 10x12 with 9ft ceilings. Completely sealed. Plan to split room down middle, one side grow the other flower. Have separate 1 ton ductless for each side.
1) Do you think (1) 1000w 6" raptor on a moving track will suffice for 10 plants in a 6x10 area?
2) Any recommendations on the height of the wall mount air handler? I had planned on placing at 6' in hopes to keep a warm air pocket higher towards the ceiling. No point on cooling un-used space.
3) Any thoughts welcome as I am in the early stages of the build. As though you were building a room for yourself.
Attached pics below. I used R-13 along with 6mill vapor barrier. All drywall hung and room painted white. It's sealed pretty tight.
