New grow room, ventilation and reflector questions.

Hey, so I'm upgrading from my current closet to a full-sized grow room. The room is 800 cubic feet (9x11x 8, and will be lit with (2) 1000w air-cooled lights set in line with 6' ducting, and cooled by a 450 CFM fan. The house is cooled by central air, and kept at ~76 degrees.

That said, I have two questions:

1. What kind of exhaust setup will I need for the room as a whole? Will the 450 CFM fan cooling both hoods be enough to keep the room a reasonable temperature? Or will I need an additional fan to exhaust the room?

2. What reflector best suits my needs? The space it needs to cover is 4.5x5.5, and obviously I would like it to run as cool as possible. I am leaning toward the Radiant 6, but the Luminaire 6 is much, much cheaper. Does anyone have experience with it, or a third option they recommend?

Thankyou in advance, love and respect.

450 cfm should be sufficient, make it air tight to be sure. you could run a carbon filter and probably be fine make sure you are exhausting from high up so you take out the hot air.

you're using 1000w so I would guess you might want to use air cooling you can run duct from air cooled hood (glass lensed) to the fan and exhause out of the carbon filter to eliminate your odors.

I've used air cooled reflectors and cooltube and I use my cooltube for the tight space but a big reflector is better... between the two you mentioned I would go with the radiant because of the front/back angled reflector and the high quality aluminum for reflecting.

I would make it so the air cooled reflectors are drawing cool air from another room and exhaunsting it to another room, leaving the air in you grow op undisturbed.

In addition to the air coold reflector, i would run another fan of similar size, hooked up to a thermostat switch, to exhaust the heat buildup and stale air, this one would be running through a filter.

This kind of setup would allow for easy CO2 enrichment, which by the way is well worth the investment
