New grow setup... Does it work?

sorry to be a nag, and thank you all for the help. But would this not work for lighting?

Get 2,3 or 4 of these Rite-Light 10 1/2" Brooder Clamp Light 250 Watt

and put HPS bulbs in them?

ok, I think I have got it. One of each of the following?

Sunleaves Pulsar 2.0 120/240V Two-Way Ballast, 1000W - Worm's Way

Sunleaves OptiLUME HPS Lamp , 1000W - Worm's Way

That's it no? And this can all be directly plugged in to the wall, no hard wiring require..

if so, how many.

would i have to rotate the plants a shit load though? im rockinout 40 right now so that would be alot of bs i dont want to do. i wont have enough room to hang lights on tracks untill late spring. (thats when the real spot starts back up and runnin). do you think the middle mh light will sufficiantly stretch my room? for winters, im forced to use this tiny ass space.... im triin to make the best of it

as you can immagine theres not much extra room. walls are covered with mylar foil so its a virtual growroom inside a light. very efficient but a major pain in the ass.

i would rotate...i like even canopy... but i mean i guess the footprint of the mh would/should stretch over the plants good enough...how much of mh? watt?

and pots and soil is fully up to you. they say a gallon per foot growth....but FDD2BLK obviously put that myth to shame.


soil wise....people swear by fox farms oceanic forest or some shit. you can also make your own. search on this website for subcool's super soil, if you cant find it...give me a minute and ill be back to drop off the link!!!


i wouldnt know in dept, i've only grown soil one time and switched to hydro. (i got a heavy hand, tend to overwater)

400, i suppose i could kick it up to a 600 if you dont think thats overkill

more light the better they say.


im thinking you should have like a 2hps: 1mh ratio
