hello people. i am a grad student trying to smoke some good cannabis. i am tired of smoking brown shit with shit load of seeds in it. i thought the better idea would be to grow a plant myself. after some research i got started by sprouting a bagseed , unknown strain and unknown sex. i kept the seedling under one 37w 6500k cfl and one 15w 6500k cfl for first six days. the plant now has two set of leaves at day seven from sprout. i'm going by the well experimented 18/6 schedule for the veg. the leaves are long and thin. its definitely a sativa. but today i kept the plant at my window for 6 hours under direct sunlight. close to the equator the sunlight was like a battery and now the plants second set of leaves have grown bigger within a span of 5 hours. i would appreciate if you guys could guide me i just wanna smoke some loud :D

you luky sod, i'm in n.e scotland
Sound like your doing fine, main thing is dont over water and depending on the pot size she or he won't need feeding for a good couple of weeks, just check for yellowing leaves mainly.
get a plant sprayer for round the plant base use only water no feed as yet, and Enjoy the view
Also WELCOME to R.I.U hope you find and enjoy what your looking for

waddup mate thank you for the reply yeah she's looking fine for the first week. temperatures are a problem here go upto 35 degrees celsius man. i made sure the water drains quickly.
the plant is still in a small glass i plan to apply some theoretical knowledge and try to get some top yield!

Ideal place,
be soon time for a bigger pot, i have mine in 25kg plastic bags, they don't mind
had my temps up to 35c but it was too hot for me, the plant seemed ok just more thirsty, i now keep it around 25c to 30c, mainly because of location
you can't beat experimenting in my opinion, grow one as normal so you have a smoke in case it goes wrong,
Enjoy
