New grower HELP NEEDED

Hey guys i recently started growing a single plant from a seed i got in my bud lol its worked pretty well so far its about 6-7 inches tall with 8 nodes i think i burnt it last night though cause my top fan leaves are really dry and crispy i know its a really ghetto set up but i worked with what i had . I just recently got a new job so money will be coming in and im looking forward to pampering my girls with the best of the best can you guys give me a good list of EVERYTHING to get from homedepot or lowes i already have a 1ft deep, 2ft wide, and 4 1/2ft tall cabinet that is painted with matte white paint . Ive only been using a 15watt cfl to grow it with suprisingly its worked pretty well i guess (i know you veteran growers are prolly grinding your teeth at me but its all i had lol) im really looking forward to getting this going the RIGHT way so i can have some good bud instead of all this crappy reg in memphis

unless your bulb was right on the leaves, it's hard to see how it was burned
sounds like a good start, pop in some more cfl's and you can flower with some yield

this is her as of right now it was right on the plant but it was pretty close i have a air purifier in the cabinet with it blowing on it so idk what i can be maybe you can tell from the pictures on what it is or tell me what i can do to fix it .

seems like you have a kind of SCROG deal going with the screen
not a bad thought, cfl's can do a good SCROG
i see the leaf damage, that's not light burn
maybe from a pre-fertilized soil, i.e nute burn, maybe
not bad at all for the small setup

Thanks its extremely ghetto i know lol i going to add another cfl in there tonight for some more light and yea im wanting to do scrog since from what ive read is the most productive way of growing . Im not really trying to grow her forever just long enough to make her flower and get a few grams off of it till i get the seeds i want and my set up fixed . Would it be too early to flower her ? Its been over 2 weeks and i topped her on the 14 day mark just to see what it would do . Thanks again guys

you can flower now, might be a good idea
i grow small plants and with enough light and good genetics you could get a oz
can't help you too much with scrog since i haven't done scrog yet

I doubt it has good genetics lol its a seed i found in my bud but im gonna go ahead and flower her at 21 days to get her a little bit bigger . Im super excited to see if this actually works out . Thanks for all the help ill keep you guys posted on my ghetto fingerscrossed grow lol

good luck, but you may see things get worse if you can't nail down what that burn is from
