New grower here any help greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I am planning on buying an air cooled reflector in the next couple of days. The question I was wondering was, which size would be most suitable to get? 4 inch, 5 inch, 6 inch ect ect? At the moment I have a 600 watt light which when switched on bumps the temps inside the tent up to 35 degrees celsius which is to hot if I did my research correctly. Thanks

Just love that name ....lol size of the cool tube depends on the size of the bulb, and the amount of suction you got going on...stick to the 6 inch tho large, and will require a bit of grunt to extract its a lot easier to adapt another light later, otherwize it the 4 inch but they are better suited to the 400w digital, the ones you dial down

thanks for the reply vostok and the advice. Do you think a 5" cool tube and a 5" extractor fan will lower the temps enough for the plant to enjoy its enviroment?? Is there another way to maybe lower the temps? thanks again.

6 inch is what you want to run for effectiveness. 4 is to small for your needs as far as passive air flow goes. 8 is overkill unless you plan to put over 4 1K watt lights in line and connect them all in one line (cooling).

Thanks very much for the feedback. Do you know how much it may cool it down? right now I am not at the stage when I need to use the powerful light but I tested it and temps hit 35 degrees Celsius. Could i knock off 10 degrees celsius with a 6 inch air cooled reflector and 6inch extractor fan do you think?
