Im a first time grower and my first two plants seem to be doing well
except for the fact that the bottom two original leaves are turning yellow. I read up a bit and put some coffee grounds on them for nitrogen and everytime i water them the soil is farely dry so im trying to keep it on a good schedule. they first broke soil over easter weekend. So i need help!!!

If youre talking about the very first 2 little leaves it gets as a seedling, you have nothing to worry about, its normal. Youre cool.

Give us some info on the plants, your settup, your soil, your watering schedule, your lighting schedule etc. Im sure it would be much easier to help you with all of that info, pics never hurt either.

i wouldnt worry about it all my plants did the same.. i am growing ak48 in soil... just make sure you let them dry enough before you re water them.. when they start to sulk tyhey need watering...wouldnt add anything to them at this stage. the nutes in the soil is enough to keep them going... what size pots are they in???

water every 3-4 days, no nutes or ferts for first 3 weeks then start at 1/4 strength keep a fan on them too to stengthen stems make sure dirt is right up to first real leaves to minimize stem stretch

all my supplies are kindof ghetto, for my bigger one im useing a cleaned out garbage can thats fairly good size and the other is in a tea tin thats alright for its smaller size. the soil i found in the shed of my new house just plain potting soil. the light is just a lamp with just a screw in bulb. there is a fan on them because when the big one grew up so fast the started to fall but then i transplanted it and buried it up to the first two nodes.

Your plants are light starved, thats why the are stretching and toppleing over...You need to change your light... cheapest way to go is florecents... for two plants theyll work just fine, Pick one up at walmart for like $20 bucks... and check the bag of potting soil you got. the stuff you buy usually contains enough nutes for three weeks of initial growth... if the soil out of your shed was just reg. soil, you should start adding nutes sooner than you normally would.

its prob nothing to worry about, are you using nutes? or any miracle grow products or another medium that comes with food/nutes? this could burn the plant..if you are using nutes you need to stop that for a couple weeks and if your using nute/food included medium, you probably need to transplant your plants into a different soil quick.:joint:

adding coffee grounds to the soil is good in small amounts because it contains a lot of nitrogen which we all know is good for veg stage... plus coffee is is so readily available right in your home...
