Hi guys and gals! I'm new to growing anything. Just started a week ago. So here's the back story...I got 2 clones a week ago (they're from a beautiful mother that I was lucky enough to sample a little while back). I think they were 2-3 weeks old when I got them. Before I got a chance to put them in my tent, the plants were transported in freezing cold (30-40f) and kept in the trunk for 2 hrs or so. When I got them home I left them sit in the room temp for an hour or so, before putting them under the grow light.
My friend had to take his clones out of the cloner a couple weeks ago so they were given to me in coco. He is not an organic grower, so the plants were fed synthetic nutes at the beginning. I was set up with organic soil and want to stay that way so I just transplanted them into 3 gallon fabric pots with soil. The coco was dry as fuck at that point so the coco basically fell right off the roots (which was my plan). The roots were pretty much put straight into soil and I just mixed the coco into the top soil. Day 1 and 2 I struggled with keeping humidity about 40%. I was going to buy a humidifier but we got a snow storm and plans changed. So on day 3 I added the humidifier and have been able to keep RH and temp pretty steady. RH is @50-60% and temp is at 72-75F.
So I had dryness and temp issues at first but I would say I have 3-4 days with good levels. My soil has been is holding dampness down to the tip of my index finger since I added mulch on top on day 3 (same day I added humidifier). My temps in tent have been good the whole time but that couple hours in the freezing cold definitely upset the girls a little. I've been playing with my light dimmer, but it has not gauge, just a knob. I'm attempting to get to around 500 ppfd. I have a 320 watt https://www.growpackage.com/products/eco-farm-120w-240w-320w-480w-600w-quantum-board-led-grow-light in a 2x4x6 tent. I think it may be kinda strong for veg but that what the dimmer for right?
So, my guess is these leaves are showing signs of light burn. Can anyone tell me if this is right or nah? If nah, what do you think is causing the discoloration?
