new grower need help

im having a bit of a problem i have just germinated some random seeds and planted one, today it came out of the soil but has been completey frazzled im not really sure how though i am using a 400w light in a 120x80x180 mylar grow tent and the light is about 45cm away from the plant could anybody please help

Pics? How hot is it in there? You need to provide some more information. I would say that 45cm is way to close to a seedling if you are using a 400w HPS or any light for that matter.

about 30 degrees but im not really sure how to make it cooler though got a fan in there but cnt rli aford a extractor fan just yet .

I think your problem is that you have a seedling 45 cm away from a 400 watt light, thats pretty intense.
