New Grower Needing Assistants

Hey man, i've been watching your grow and i must say I am very impressed with your results.I too made a bunch of errors since it's my first grow and all and have started over about 3 times thus far. you know they say 3rd time is a charm. u want to put those cfl like anywhere from 1 1/2 to 4 inches away deppending on howmany u have, i also suggest u do not use miracle grow, esspecialy cuz its ur first grow, try to find a hydro store or a garden store and get fox farm grow big , big bloom, and tiger bloom..

thank you both for posting! I need to get more CFL's this weekend and build a new set up but after that I'm buying a 400 HPS light I've been having car trouble... eff volkswagens lol. That chart you posted is going to help me out alot when I have problems with my leafs. I do really need to get some fox farm products there is a hydro store like 15 mins from my house I think I might go check that out and see that products they have I was suggested to get CalMag Botanicare nutrients for my plants. I think my plants have a zine deficiency though.. I could be wrong. Here are some pictures since everyone LOVES photos!

started to flower still have problems with lower leafs turning brown and stuff... any help on this I even went to the hyrdo store and asked what it could have been, said my house plants are starting to turn yellow on the edges on the leaves hmm.. but on a good note I'm getting a light fox farm soil and everything I need this week. do you have any pistils coming from the growth at your nodes?

I'm going to post some more photos tonight with my mirco lenses it looks like its budding like a female plant. I looked up some photos and it doesn't look like a male (nuts) growing. Plus the bottom leaves are bothering me and starting to die more and more when I look at them. Ill take some photos of those as well.

positive its a male... some one confirm for me... looks like ill be buying some female seeds online but now that I have a set up that will grow. ill be doing good

I've been thinking of getting my seeds from there t so many to choose from I'm having a hard time haha. I can't have anything skunky smelling but I love skunk strains myself. I've been thinking about flying dutch men or og kush or master kush.

If the light was made to warm a lizard keep it for the lizard. it wont grow a dope plant,ok. Get a hps if you want to grow properly. I could only imagine a 1000w hps sitting over a lizard to warm him.

wow it is a bummer that plant turned out to be male,it can be hard to take after putting so much time into it,i think for most people it might take a time or 2 to get everything right,i know it did me,i would brag on nervana for seed.(feminized seeds) they have a mystic blue strain that is low on oder and u might consider growing shorter plants to, i remember there is one strain that dont need a ton of light for it to veg and flower,i like the shorter strains, i grow in a box myself,and i am only useing cfl's the girls have been on 12/12 since germinating,and they r looking good,got tons of white hairs sticking out from everywhere,and i am very excited about that,oh and dont worry about the lower leaves the plant sheds them as they get older,oh and try to relax good luck sunybrd

well guys ill update fixed my room only going to be doing veg till the plant is ready for 12/12 and going to do smaller plants.
