That’s nice. I see some really nice coco grows on here. I get a steady 3 to 3 1/2 lbs from a 5x10 area. But again I don’t use coco I imagine I’d get more if I did though I see there plants always look bigger and fuller. Nobody likes a bragger.I got 8 oz dry weight from coco. Phantom cookies. Under spider farmer 2000 in a 3x3.
Yeah some say its pointless cus of no boiactivity but some bro man science say it helps with the flavor and swear by it. I've had gd grows and just keep it in the line up.I thought you were growing in coco.
Coming from the guy that thinks it’s ok to “water” coco once a week.Yeah some say its pointless cus of no boiactivity but some bro man science say it helps with the flavor and swear by it. I've had gd grows and just keep it in the line up.
I said he feeds coco once a week not water. His sits in a 5lb planter that self waters. I feed every other day and water daily. Get it strait. I will post pics let me find em.Coming from the guy that thinks it’s ok to “water” coco once a week.
Got any pictures of your 8oz monster in coco?
Hey if you're happy we're happy. That's all that matters anyways, being able to get them from seed to harvestHarvested this plant 3 times. 6 oz first time 2weeks later cut-off 1oz then the final trim i got 23grams.
I know this an old post but some of the best advice I've heard in awhile. I learned something and confirmed something. Love the pothole idea, thanks LeastExpectedGrower.Easier than transplanting, then watering is to get the soil you're planting into to the same moisture content as the root-ball you're planting into it.
I generally water mine a day (or two) before transplant so the root ball already has a good amount of soil.
I never transplant 'dry'. I then take my medium (Pro-Mix in my case) and scoop about 3g into a 5g bucket, mix in whatever amendments you're using (Mycos, lime or whatever you're putting in) and then pour in water that's treated the same way as what I've been feeding the seedling (Same pH & nutrient content). Mix with a trowel and your hand/arm until it's fully combined. Keep adding water until the soil is evenly moist and will clump but isn't mud, should be roughly the same as the soil in the rootball you're transplanting. . I then fill the pots/bags with this mixture (mixing up more medium/water/amendments as needed), and I use an empty pot in the center (same kind my seedlings are in). so that once the pot is full, I can remove the smaller pot and have a void to drop the rootball into. Once that's in place I further fill the pot/bag with more soil to completely fill the container.
From there I don't 'water in' the plant. There's already moisture similar to what the roots have and they spread naturally from there. Usually it's a couple days before things dry down enough to want to water again.
Glad I can help. Works for me over and over again.I know this an old post but some of the best advice I've heard in awhile. I learned something and confirmed something. Love the pothole idea, thanks LeastExpectedGrower.
