New Grower Needs help

Ok, so I've watched Jorge Cervantes' dvd's, read most of the Marijuana grow bible, and I've decided to set up an indoor grow room in the attic of my house. I've decided to go with an Ebb-and-Flow system:

and build a small 5x5(possibly 8x grow room with that vinyl, plasticy white wall cover. As for water goes i was looking at Advanced Nutrients hobbyist kit since im just starting. Would that work for a small hydro system? Is bghydro reliable? I'm just double checking my set-up with the community to make sure it sounds solid.

Start with General Hydroponics 3 part for nutrients. Since it's your first grow, it is the easiest and most forgiving IMO.

Becarful in the attic, temps will swing bigtime. I am currently doing the same and underestimated the 60 degree temp swing that I found up there, it took a bit of work and some insulation but I got it adjusted, what will you be using for lights? remeber if its 85f outside, it can be 115f in your attic.

Well winter is gonna hit hard in the midwest(smack dab, no less). I was gonna get one or maybe 2, 600W MH lights with the rectangular hoods with the vent hole on the side, an inline fan, and a fan for circulation, and a heater and another fan connected to a Thermostat, which will automatically activate one or the other depending on the temp i have pre-set.
