New grower, seeds just arrived, what should I grow?

I’m a new grower with no experience. I just received some seeds I ordered and I would like some help on what I should attempt to grow first. Maybe someone knows which strain is easiest/ more suitable to grow for a beginner. I have Wedding Cake, Gorilla Girl, Amnesia Haze, Dosidos, Critical Kush, Gelato OG, Bubba Kush, and Amnesia Number 7. As a newbie with no experience, what strain would you recommend I grow first?

Critical kush is the only one of those that I’ve seen on “beginner” lists for strains. I’d go that way.
I ran wedding cake (bagseed) for my first grow and it worked great! It’s a heavy feeder fyi

Just a bit of unsolicited advice.
As a first time grower, I read about lots of interesting strains and initially bought too many seeds for my grow environment. Enthusiasm overcame common sense. I fear you may be falling into the same trap.
The good news is, you can safely store seeds in the refrigerator for 18-24 months ... so there's no pressure to grow everything right away.
The next thing you need to do is create you grow environment, select nutrients, and settle on a growing style. You haven't mentioned any of those and they're far more critical to your long term success than starting with the hottest strain.,
If you want to be successful, remember that useful computer term ... KISS keep it simple stupid. Start with a single strain so you're only dealing with a single set of plants needs. Even within a single pack of seeds you will have more than 1 phenotype and they will likely have slightly different growing issues.

This. Dont do multiple strain grows as a beginner. My brother in law just started his first grow. He's doing 15 gallon pots. Vegged for awhile in 2 gallon pots, xplanted into the 15s and flipped a week later. had no till cover crop growing on em, nothing but water. Stupid easy.

Not sure i agree as I run diff strains each time for variety! Key is just making sure you understand if some are short and some are tall, you need to deal with that i.e. stands for the small ones.

So let's answer the Q shall we? What is GOOD is more important than how well you grow! Grow mediocre genetics well it still sucks and vv.

So....
Wedding Cake, Gorilla Girl, Amnesia Haze, Dosidos, Critical Kush, Gelato OG, Bubba Kush, and Amnesia Number 7.

Wedding Cake...never met anybody who doesnt like it. Yes.

Gorilla gurl...im not a big gg fan, but most people are....yes.

Gelato is popular for flavor and contains cookies which many people like. Yes.

Amnesia Haze. Always fun, its just like it sounds when grown right...you forget sxxx lol.

Those are my choices. Dosidos for a 5th choice. I would go Gelato first though its a tastier version of a cookie strain and mixed.

How do I pick strains? I know most honestly but when searching I want:

Experience. I know from 30 years of experience.

Cup Winners. Key to understanding strains is MEDIOCRITY. most strains are mediocre. Growing mediocre is a waste! Now that doesnt mean it has to win cups to be good. Bur guess what? It has or will win cups if its that good.

High THC. Hate me, argue with me but in the end theres enough killer strains that if i grow it it has to have potential to be 20% or more. I wouldnt exclude something i really like, but can find enough with this characteristic.

High Yield. Not required, but it better yield at least medium, orherwise the work done is wasted unless you grow a lot of plants.

Summary: Experience, high thc, high yield and canabis cup wins are my criteria. I do not base my choices on how many weeks of flowering time, that variance is not important to me. I like a mix of indica and sativa characteristics for variety. If you groe one kind you have to know people to trade or you will get bored imo.

I was planning to to rdwc, but I’m just going to do them separate so I can experiment with each strain individually. Once I get some grows under my belt I will change to rdwc.
