New Grower

Just starting to germinate white widow. Growing in soil, fox farms ocean forest, when and how often should I use my Rapid Start. Next, when I transplant them into the larger pots, when and how often do I add nutes to the water?

dont feed until after a month or so.

dont over water. earth just needs to have some moisture somewhere in it for the roots to search for and establish.

"roots before shoots"

to germinate i push seed into earth till its level with soil, sprinkle soil over it, and pat it down lightly once or twice. then i mist the top layer of soil with warm water twice a day. i have a sprout within 3 days usually with this method

I germinated the same way bmeat did and had good luck. Germinated directly into soil and all 5 fem seeds popped within 5 days. If you started them in seedling containers you should wait about 2 weeks and transplant into a 1gal container. After a month in the 1gal container then you can transplant into their final home which should be a 3 or 5gal container. With seedling you should always go with something like promix, I've been told that ocean forest has already nutes in it that could hurt the seedling. Once your seeds have popped and have established roots(about 2 weeks) that's when you can transplant your ladies into the 1gal and into the ocean forest mix. That's what I've been told, and that's how I'm doing it but different strokes for different folks.

Seeds directly into soil. Screw that paper towel bit or giving them a swimming party. If farmers grew crops the way some here grow pot we'd frigging starve to death.
