What's up everyone. been looking through this forum for about a week. I found a lot of good info so far. I am growing for the first time. I am going to experiment with indoor soil and the bubbleponic setups. Trying to save myself the grief of having to travel to get quality . Any advice would be great for the DIYers. I am very handy. So I can build my own setups.

what up man . just do a little lookin around you will be sure to find all kinds of good info and lots of great DIY stuff.i built all of my setups and filters from info from this site and it all looks very professional. you should be able to make some kickass stuff. have fun and welcome to RIU.

Actually I am just using seeds that I got out of a bag I had. Good quality and very mellow high. So just going to mess with those to start. I got 5 little seedlings already going. going to do some research and see what people think works the best. I just have to watch what I order and have shipped to me. Everyone seems to know everyone here. So I will be looking for items I can get local place(home depot, lowes, and gardening shops). If anyone has any recommendations feel free to share. Meanwhile the search option will become my friend.

Sounds like you are on the right track, make sure you start off with good quality soil, some Foxfarm or something like that, find out what kind of nutes you will ness and start buying them slowly one by one to keep costs down

You can germinate them buy taking a paper towel and get it moist, fold it in half, then put in your seeds then fold again

Put in a glass plate and cover it with plastic wrap making it air tight and check it in about 5 to 7 days and you should have new kids to plant

Thanks for the tip on fox farm. I found a retailer near me that sells their products. So I will be swinging by there.

Well here is my plants on day 7. If you see anything that needs improvement, please let me know. I have 2 125watt cfls for lighting. Plus now i am looking into some of the farm fox nutes and other stuff. Right now they are in miracle grow products. I have noticed the little yellow on the leaves. I have cut the fert mix in half for now and and only using it every other watering.

update......Got a second set of seeds germing now. I am going to follow Roseman's bubbleponic setup for those. I should have all the parts ready by this coming weekend. Plus I will be picking up foxfarm nutes for them as well.
