New Harvest

And a new grower. My bud cycle was about 7 weeks so I am now harvesting. I pulled them up from the root and they are now hanging upside down with plenty of dark and spaced out enough, How long do they stay hanging up and then what else is after hanging them upside down? Obviously the trimming of the plants but do I put them in a Brown Paper bag or jars or something?

i leave them haging for about a week n then they go in2 jars.
once theyre in the jars leave it open for about 45mins every day.
remember to shake it every couple of hours to prevent mould.

Actually, How long do they stay in the jars?? and can they be packed full or do they need some space??

Also when I trim I just trim the Leaves off?? Even off the buds or keep them on? the little ones

you want to trim that as close to the buds as possilbe.. that includes all of the lil bud leaf too. i like to cut off each branch and trim them before hanging, this can help them dry a lil quicker.. the more leaf that you leave on the buds the harsher the smoke will be, so get them as purty as you can, lol.. but seriously, i like to get all of the leaf off that i can.
the longer that you leave them in jars the getter the smoke will taste and smoke, so that is up to you..
i know that fdd2black has a great thread on here on harvesting and curing buds, and is what i followed and got great results, so you may want to check it out as well..

I keep the little ones on to wrap around the bud and hold in trichomes.

I leave them hanging until I can snap a stem. Then start the curing process in big jars like Monkz said. I like jars over bags. Keep in jars as long as possible. If air tight you can cure for months.

As far as smoking, after putting in jars it's ready if stays lit.

its up to you, but id rather smoke bud than leaf

you harvested your plant on its 7th week of flowering? what strain was it?

The strain was really not any special type. The guy that started it all has been pumping up the same strand making it stronger with each planting of the seeds. I think it was a type of NYC Diesel at first. It was pulled to soon but we we're moving.

oh tru yeah i see well still nice im thinking about harvesting mine tonight not sure tho might be able to go another week just posted a thread on it
