Didn't you say in earlier posts you wanted to get a 4x8 grow tent? The grow tents walls are covered in mylar which is a reflective material that can help.Tent? Explain? Please...
Man that means a lot because I really do this out of love for plants in generalYou definitely have a green thumb my friend
Thanks for the suggestionThose yellow fly paper dealies are pretty good
Thanks and no soil for me... But the neem oil im aware of I used that during my very first grow... (Spider mites, lol I was young).I have found that the wine traps do not work.
Neem the soil, use the critter catchers, and you will be fine.
They are not really specifically harmful, unless they really bloom.

Ya know I need to look a little more into the "perfect gnat breeding ground" however I think I'm dealing with what might be know as "silver Fish" im going to do some researchingYeah, I remembered the hydro right after posting.
The sticky traps are brilliant. The yellow color is
designed to mimic sick leaves I am thinking. I have
seen where gnats have lined up to suck juices from
the yellow edge of a torn leaf. Just a theory. :0)
Do fungus gnats breed in hydro setups? I do not think
that they do....
Good luck!

Fungus gnats look like miniature mosquitos , yellow sticky traps , diamacheous earth, and Mosquito dunks are the best ways to kill them without harming the plants and staying organic. Neem oil or azamax works too.Ya know I need to look a little more into the "perfect gnat breeding ground" however I think I'm dealing with what might be know as "silver Fish" im going to do some researching
_edit ok no they are not silver fish
