New hydro grower - Is this deficiency or lock out???

This problem has been a little over a week ongoing. I posted a request in the problems section but so many answers referred to soil growing.

Plants had been transplanted into my grow box for about 6 days when they began to yellow with dark veins in the center.

Thought it was a def since we had been feeding on a transplant nute mixture. But the temperature in the box was also getting high. In an un air-conditioned room and temp would get up to low 90s.

So, mixed a new batch of nutes to the veg stage formula according to Technaflora's sheet.

After three more days they looked like this:
m12.jpgm11.jpgm10.jpgRoots didn't feel slimy but they look a little off. It was suggested I just run plain water for 6-8 hours in case it was a lock-out. Which we did. They seemed to perk up some but we still felt that it was too hot in the cabinet.

So, we moved box into an air-conditioned room and temp in box dropped to a max of 80 and water temp to 70. After moving we mixed up a new batch of nutes. It was suggested we cut back on the nutes to about 50%. We did that. PH during all of this at about 5.8-6.0.

Thought new growth was rallying and maybe we beat it. These pics are from 24 hours ago at the end of a dark cycle:

Then the following pictures are at the end of the light cycle yesterday. PPM at this point is at 519 and PH at 6. (Remember we mixed up the nutes at half strength rather than shock them.) View attachment 2682688View attachment 2682689
Then here they are 6 hours later at the end of the dark cycle:

Help! Is it deficiency (potassium maybe?) or are the nutes locked out. I don't want to keep guessing with my inexperience. I've put healing crystals in the box with them and I even did a session of Reiki on them this morning. (Hey, don't laugh. I've used it on birds and humans, plants are living too.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and should I go ahead and pull yellowed leafs off? Didn't want to stress them anymore if that would hurt.

from my experiences it looks like you murdered your root health with the the high temperature in the water even if only for that 1 or two days. Are you running any beneficial bacteria?? Those roots should be bright white if they were truly healthy

I was afraid that might be a possibility. I just bought Aquashield, ZHO Powder and ordered Ancient Forest (or can get another brand worm castings locally) to mix up the tea recommended in this forum. But, I also saw a post just about Aquashield by itself. Any suggestions?

Frozen water bottles, bring res temp to 64-68f. Add your microbes and wait.

took me almost two weeks to kill the slime from only 3 days of 80f res water.

IMO once its infected at such a young age its not worth trying to save unless its some unobtainable genetics. It doesn't make sense to spend the time getting them back to where they should be (if they get there) when you can get some new clones. Get the frozen water bottles (or 2 liters) in there with your aqua shield and ZHO and great white with some new clones and you should be good. Those frozen water bottles are not a cure all though you should really be getting a chiller hooked up.

Thanks all. Will do. Already have some more clones started so will see what these do until they're ready. I am really a sucker for underdogs. Will move them to another area.

It totally looks like a potassium deficiency. Yellowing from the outside in and thin stems.
Thanks. Here's updated pictures. Got our water temp down but may be too late. They keep putting on growth but then start yellowing. I found a chart that looked like potassium deficiency to me as well. Changing the nutes to up the potassium. I probably shouldn't keep on trying with these plants, but I figure I'm learning something. Right? I hope??hyd jun 4 am 1.jpg
