thanks kinetic, same thing i was thinking. not everyone needs to be driving a new lamborghini or ferrari, or even for that matter a bmw, and living in the posh area of the burbs to think they're doing all right, and thank god for them...

the problem i see with minimum wage being say $15 an hour is that a happy meal at mcdonalds would now cost you $25.. pretty much everything would go up in relation to the increase in minimum wages as businesses aren't just going to pay more in wages and lose all that in profits, so naturally pretty much every product would go up in price..

this is a very valid point, but in the end i think if we all made more, when things went up in price it wouldnt seem maybe SO bad because that extra cash at the end of the week would be alot more than usual...in the end what it comes down to is corporations and ceos and the like are stealing all the real profits and keeping it for themselves while leaving the man at the bottom of the totom pole with nothing, buying 1 dollar cheeseburger and praying the gas dont go up to 5 dollar per gallon
