so what was the lights original use that they are sold for normally? I know there are some super bright led's out there, and the technology is coming along nice in the past year alone... do you have a light meter to put under the lights, and see the difference? That might help too. If anyone has any led's that are brand new technology, let us know, peace.

These lights are new they are made for Streetlights and Warehouse lights. The navy has them for spotlights. These lights at 3" with PAR meter is 1200 or 1300 at 6" 400. Lumens are off the charts these thing are bright. I dont know too much about them but if you goto G2led.com they have some info on there. If you goto my thread

Well we put the light track in and it looks good bad thing is on the healthy plants snapped the top over hopefully it will knuckle up and keep growing. The healthy plants are starting to bud good. I wish we would have had the mover sooner. Also the sickies are still going good I just hope they plump up alot.

I'm digging the light track.... nice addition.

Those buds don't stop to impress me.

What do you think those lights cost to run.... like $1 a month? any idea? If not no biggie... just curious.

have we figured out yet what watt hps light they are equal to in performance? This bit of info will be what sways me one way or the other.

just some more

Eh nope on the what they compare too. I'll see what Tim says.

Ken, Tim has always told me to use a 10 to 1 ratio as far a wattage compare goes, but that ratio gets even better as you add more of their lights. The big operational dispesarys are using the new HELO line up and pressing the envelope. One place has the TRI power 3 x 4 super fixture and is growing 80 plants under one x 300 watt light fixture. They are in veg of coarse, but still an impressive number. The real value in these guys is the commercial ability to scale up. Nothing get even close to what they are doing even in HPS. The 4x4 duel quad sho helo is 400 watts uses less than 2 amps of draw and covers enough area to grow over 100 plants in veg. If you can keep them tight you can flower them all by just changing the time cycle from 18 to 12 and adding in a 20 to 30 degree temp variance to make sure the plant know the fall season is over and winter is coming.

Bob

Well we started flushing the sickies so this Saturday we will clip. I think we will get an ounce out of them all together.
