I believe those 10K Reef lights are used as "Moon Lights" for the aquariums. 5.7 - 7.0 Kelvins is the efficient range of spectrum that your plant needs while on vegetative state. (I personally use a mixed spectrum but no higher than 6.7K and no lower than 2.7K)
