Did you happen to notice that there are multiple cannabis legalization petitions already accumulating signatures? In your efforts to help, you just may well have hurt the movement by creating multiple petitions and thus diluting the ones already there.
Did you notice this blurb right by the "Create a petition" button?
"Creating a duplicate or similar petition will make it harder for you to get an official response. Instead, sign and help promote the one that has already been created."

Yeah but......i voted on like 5 and all had way over the amount needed to get passed on to Obama! So sign'em all... 5 petitions is better then 1

Yeah, but what it takes is a good petition description to convince Obama. I can assure that mine is convincing.

thats the dumbest comment i've ever heard....Why the hell, if marijuana is legalized do you think the GOVERNMENT would be adding chemicals? The government does'nt produce cigarettes, or alcohol, or even medicines....All are created by private companies. You do know you can make your own beer all day long, you don't have to buy it in a store. You can pretty much assume if cannabis is legal, you can produce your own as well. The private growers will be the ones who fuel the market anyways. Its called Free Enterprise.
Personally i can't wait till its legal for adult consumption just like alcohol is. I'll would love to be able to produce my own label.
Lets start moving forwards people, got to leave that kind of uneducated closed minded thinking in the past.

Marijuana is a marvelous naturally occuring medicine that can cure countless illnesses such as ADHD, Alzheimers, Brain injury, Cancers, Chronic Pain, Nausia, Glaucoma, HIV, Muscle Spasms, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Seizure Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Major Depression, Tourette's Syndrome, and hundreds more! Cannabis has not caused ANY recorded deaths in history, and has NO major side effects/withdraw symptoms other than slight memory impairment while under it's influence. It is also a known that the U.S. Government's own statistics show that over %75 of all american's that smoke pot never go onto harder drugs, in fact quite the opposite, proving the Gateway Drug theory wrong! Other medical studies shows that marijuana is LESS addicting than caffeine! Thank you for your time!

You are right, the government would not be handling the growing responsibilities, but with a competitive market, producers are more likely to use hyro in order to maximize yield vs time, so you probably wouldnt have good, clean, organically grown medicine. there is a big difference. trash sold for the same price is still trash.

check out the phoenix tears website. none of it is yet proven, but definitely arguable
