Although it IS possible to hit that goal , it will take enough light per plant to reach this. Side light can help. What strain are you running ?

I'm guessing that he's using CFL's just by the colour and intensity of the light

I first started with spiral cfl bulbs... Now there's only two times I use them.

A.) because my t5 system shit the bed on me so I use spirals with spot light refelectors over my clones and seedlings because it works until I replace my t5. Made this today as a cheap fix for the time being...



B.) when I'm hanging them on the sides of my flowering plants to give em more supplemental lighting

Otherwise me personally... I wouldn't use anything less than MH for the veg stage

I would say at least 10,000 lumens PER PLANT minimum or big bag of silver glitter.

i also have cfls hanging down to cover bottom growth i have 40-50+bud sites on each plant ill put more picd up its not the perfect setup i made a basic box three cfls 2 red 1 blue ill put list of nutes now

you may need to add a few more lights to make your target of a pound/plant.

How many watts are the 3 CFL bulbs?

the 3 main ones are 250w each with 2 45w twisted hanging down all cfls
